This stunning Barracuda is powered by the original numbers matching 383 engine that was rebuilt and an A833 4-speed standard transmission. The rear end is an 8 3/4 with 3:23 gears and Sure Grip. This gorgeous 69 fastback Formula S was one of only 272 that were built with the 383 and automatic in the fastback version for 1969. Originally from Arizona this Plymouth still retains most of its original sheet metal. It was repainted in the original W1 Alpine White. It is equipped with manual steering and manual 4-wheel drum brakes. The cowl, trunk, dash, and engine stamps are all 100% numbers matching. During restoration, the original factory undercoating was preserved as best as possible. The fit, finish, and paint quality on the body is remarkable. All the stainless trim was professionally polished and new front and rear bumpers were installed. New small bolt pattern Rallye rims and new BFGoodrich tires with upgrade to 15-inch were installed. A new dual exhaust system was installed and sounds awesome. Many new steering, suspension and brake parts were installed during the restoration. The interior was redone with new seat covers, carpet, and headliner. This Barracuda is a must-see to appreciate the quality of the restoration vehicle.
